However, we can speculate that it began by looking up at the twinkling stars. Whether the Neanderthals or Cro-Magnon had that capacity is hard to say. Early cave drawings were mostly about wild beasts and the hunt for food. Interestingly enough, images of women were not far behind. Now, 30,000 years later, we have art of the heavens worthy of hanging in our own caves.

Hubble images and NASA images have created some of the most fabulous art ever seen. Actually, the Hubble telescope hasn't created these space images so much as documented them.
